Design

The creator of the bike addressed the low cost in the interview with Electrek. He claimed that the low prices were the result of the pre-sales model. It told them how much demand there would be. This ensures that they didn’t purchase excess materials. This allowed them to reduce manufacturing costs by around 30 percent. Getting sales in advance also ensured that the company had the funds to get the equipment needed without going into debt.  It’s expected that the first bikes will be ready to start shipping by the end of the year.
