Volcon Secures Multi-Year Distribution Agreement with Brazilian Importer Ventura Experience

About Volcon, Inc.

Headquartered in the Austin, Texas area, Volcon was established as the first all-electric powersports company, producing high-quality and sustainable electric vehicles for the outdoor community. Volcon electric vehicles represent the future of off-roading, offering environmental benefits and near-silent operation for a more immersive outdoor experience.

Volcon Inc., the pioneering all-electric, off-road powersports company, announced recently that it has signed a multi-year distribution agreement with Brazilian importer Comfort Industria E Comercio LTDA (Ventura Experience or Ventura). The agreement includes a minimum purchase requirement of $12.0 million over a three-year period starting in 2023. The deal, effective March 31, 2023, also covers up to five additional countries with up to $3.4 million in extra minimum purchase requirements. Sales in these additional countries are contingent upon approval from a component supplier to the Stag to sell in these countries.

The Importer Agreement will be renewed in 2026 if Ventura meets its sales performance targets specified in the agreement, and subsequently for consecutive two-year periods. For each consecutive renewal period, unless otherwise agreed, the minimum purchase requirements under the Importer Agreement will increase by 5% over the then-existing minimum purchase requirements. Through its partnership with Ventura, Volcon aims to extend its dealership network into several other countries in the South and Latin American regions via Ventura’s established distribution network.

“We are excited to announce our new distribution agreement with Ventura, which will introduce Volcon Electric Vehicles to five new countries in South America. Ventura is an impressive company with a proven track record in the industry, and we look forward to working together to bring sustainable and innovative products to customers throughout the region,” said Melissa Coffey, Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development at Volcon.

After visiting each other’s cities, teams, and facilities, both companies recognized the potential for collaboration and began taking steps to make the relationship a reality. “This agreement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both teams, and we’re excited to see what we can achieve together,” said Cristian Liani, International Sales Manager at Volcon.

Ventura, a leader in powersports distribution in Latin and South America, is eager to partner with Volcon and introduce their sustainable electric vehicles to customers in the region. With over 40 years of experience and an extensive network of dealerships, Ventura is well-positioned to help Volcon expand its dealership network throughout South and Latin America.

Ventura plans to launch the Volcon product line at their bi-annual dealer conference in July, where Volcon team members will participate in unveiling the products to attending dealers. Ventura’s current UTV and four-wheel lineup is primarily diesel-powered, so the introduction of Volcon electric vehicles is eagerly anticipated. Prior to the product launch at their dealer conference, Ventura representatives will join Volcon in Austin this spring for a dealer demo day. Coffey stated, “A relationship of this kind has the potential to create endless opportunities for both parties, and we’re ecstatic to begin working together and exploring what the future holds.”

Volcon’s 2023 vehicle roadmap includes motorcycles and UTVs for the North American market. The innovative Grunt, the company’s first product, has been shipping to customers since late 2021, combining a fat-tired physique with high-torque electric power and a near-silent drive train. Volcon recently launched the Grunt EVO, an upgraded version of the original Grunt, featuring a belt drive, improved suspension, and seat. The company also introduced the Runt LT, a smaller version of the groundbreaking Grunt, designed for small-statured riders, more compact properties and trails, or as a pit bike at race events, while still delivering robust off-road capabilities. The Brat, Volcon’s entry into the popular eBike market, is currently being delivered to dealers across North America for both on-road and off-road riding. Additionally, Volcon is launching and delivering a youth line of dirt bikes for younger riders aged 4 to 11. The company also recently introduced the Stag, entering the rapidly expanding UTV market. The Stag enables drivers to explore the outdoors in a unique way that gas-powered UTVs cannot match, offering thrilling performance without noise or pollution and allowing users to fully immerse themselves in the outdoor experience.
